Comparison of Feto-Maternal Outcomes Between Emergency and Elective Cesarean Deliveries in Patients with Gestational Diabetes

Aim: To compare fetal and maternal outcomes between elective emergency cesarean sections in patients with gestational diabetes
 mellitus (GDM).
 Material Methods: Data from GDM delivered by section January 2015 July 2020 were
 retrospectively reviewed. Patients were grouped according to whether the was (n=129) or (n=158).
 Results: The rate higher (31.16%) than without GDM. There more patients
 inadequate care group (p=0.003). One
 neonate six C/S died, but rates of neonatal mortality similar (p=0.198).
